Join us on 25 March for Say Their Name Day

On 25 March in celebration of Say Their Name Day's first birthday, we invite you to host a gathering in honour of a baby you know and love to help Sands support more bereaved parents.

When you register your event, online fundraiser, or donate to our Say Their Name campaign, you'll have the option of adding a personalised forget-me-not featuring your baby’s name to our new online memorial garden.

If you host a fundraising event, as a special thank you, you’ll also receive in the mail some Sands forget-me-not seeds to plant at home in remembrance of your baby.

With your help, we can develop new opportunities to reach out and connect with those grieving the loss of a beloved baby.

Spreading kindness from one family to another – that’s the Sands way.

In the late 1990’s an Older Loss group was established by Sands Victoria to bring together the parents of babies who died prior to the early 1980’s, when hospitals took stillborn babies, and those who died as a newborn, away and buried unknown locations. Parents were not able to see or hold their babies.
